My name is Jean Gabbert and I am the webmaster of this site. Sounds really important doesn't it?  My daughter Kathy Walls started the family tree in November 2008.   Because of the amount of information we found, I started this tree for others who are  also looking for their roots.

On the Creekmore side which is my mother's side, we traced back to 1515, John  Crickmore in Norwich, Norfolk, England.

On the Gabbert side which is my husband's side, we have traced back to 1500 Germany, Mathes Gebert.

The Blackwell family has not been as easy to follow.  I am stumped at Thomas "Dolly" Blackwell born in Prarie, Keyestville, Missouri about 1832.

The other side of this equation is the Ireland family.  William Thomas Ireland was  born March 1833 in New Jersey.  That is the only information I have about him.

Now on my father's side of the family I have not been able to get past my great-great grandfather, Pleasant Robertson, born in Illinois as far as I can tell, he was married to Mary Jane Thurman on October 9,1885.  They had six children, Mary Jane had four children from a previous marriage to a West.

The same with my great-great grandfather on my grandmother Bryant side of the family.  His name was John Hicks Bryant. His wife, my great-great gradmother Eldora Wilson is also a mystery.  I know that she was married three times. Bryant, William Toliver,  Jack Chaney.  I found the memorial card from the cemetery where she was buried in  Hawthorne, Iowa, but the trail stops there.

On my mother's side of the family is her mother was Margaret(Bessie) Elizabeth Sullivan.  She had four brothers and one sister. Her father's name was William M  Sullivan and mother was Lucy Sanders.  Pete Sullivan was a male nurse in California.  Mike Sullivan, Harvey Sullivan, Tuck (real name)Sullivan and Jewel Sullivan. My  mother does not remember them very well, but that Harvey married Ollie and they had  one child,a boy. Ollie then divorced Harvey and married Pete.  Pete was shot and  killed by Harvey and Ollie's son. WOW!  Margaret Sullivan was born in 1904-1905, died  in August 1969 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I don't now what her married name was at the  time, and my mother said that she had been married numerous times. I have not been  able to find anything on any of these family members.

Now the Walls side. Kathy has been able to trace back to Drewry Walls, born April 7, 1812 in Indiana. On the side she has only been able to find great-grandmother, Edna Patterson born July 1870 in Illinois, died September 29, 1959. She was married to William Norris Walls born December 4, 1864, died January 31, 1942.

The Staples side of the Walls family was traced back to John Staples, 1610, Chard, Somerset,England.  The Lynn side of the Staples family, Kathy reached a brick wall.  She got as far as Lamuel Walter Lynn, born October 23, 1900 in Moberly, Randolph  County, Missouri. Died June 17, 1975 in Moberly, Missouri.
